The less exciting stuff

• WLAN Pi Go cannot join your Wi-Fi network as a client, it is intended to be used primarily as passive scanning device.

• WLAN Pi Go is powered by and communicates with the ‘host’ iPhone/tablet via (included USB-C cable)

Alternative form factor?

If you do NOT have any intention to use the USB-C Accessory Port, BadgerWiFi offers a SLIM ‘version’ of the WLAN Pi Go.
This ‘downgraded’ version of the WLAN Pi Go:

• Is not compatible with the Wi-Spy Lucid spectrum analyser (because the accessory port is physically removed)

• Ships with a 3D printed back case In place of the machined delrin case of the regular (unmodified WLAN Pi Go)

• Higher cost due to additional labour required to remove the Accessory Port
